Howdy y’all,

This Thursday, July 31st The Hall Monitors will be warming up the stage at the 9:30 Club for the Chapel Hill’s legendary good-timers Southern Culture on the Skids! For those of you who have yet to experience a live SCOTS show - oh boy, you sure are in for it. Their greased-up blend of surf, rockabilly, and garage is likely to unleash your inner hillbilly. So much so, you may end up covered in fried chicken or banana pudding. We’re not kidding, either. As an added bonus, our friend Mark Williams (aka The Kaiser) will be spinning some bang-on-the-wall good tunes between sets. Many of you will recognize him from DC Soundclash, Taking the Piss (both at Marx Cafe), and Procedure (which is happening at Saint-Ex this coming Wednesday, btw).

The doors for this show open at 7:30, the damage is $15, and the Hall Monitors hit the stage at 8:45.
